I didn't realize there were so many GF apps. I found some new beers to try too. I wasn't able to answer all the questions, which means I'm doing well not buying too many starchy GF replacement foods.

West Palm Beach GF Food Fair

I started to take the survey but I haven't tried enough of the products to vote intelligently.

FYI There will be a Gluten Free Food Fair at the South Florida Fairgrounds in West Palm Beach on Saturday 2/18 from 11-4. I've never been to one of these and I'm really looking forward to it. It would be nice to have actual food in the house instead of just ingredients. I'm hoping for something prepared that tastes good. Since my DH died, I haven't felt like cooking and am not always eating well. Wine and potato chips are not a balanced diet.

Wine and potato chips are not a balanced diet.
Sheila, I sympathize, empathize, and everything else-ize. And about the "ingredients" bit too. And the cleaning up after cooking.

It takes a while to begin to cook for yourself. I know what it's like to live on wine and potato chips.
One of these days you will crave a little more than tasty and filling. And, since you can't eat what others cook, you will have to cook. And when you smell and taste decent food again your appetite will come back.

I can't eat ANYTHING ready made since there are so many foods to which I am sensitive. So I cook, and clean up, and cook again......

I have been trying to make enough to freeze when I make something that takes time.
And my little infra red convection oven makes meal prep easier and WAY quicker.

I've been thinking about getting one of those things, too - they look like a handy way to whip up a meal in a hurry.

It's amazing, Tex. I don't turn on my oven at all. I use it 2 or 3 times a day. Baking potatoes is a breeze. I take a lamb chop (or in your case, pork) from frozen to beautifully cooked in 1/2 an hour, and do the potatoes and a veg with it at the same time. It's SO useful!

I have the Sharper Image one, bought at Costco.
