Post by harma »

I am off entocort now, for a whole week. That is the longest I have ever done without medication, normally on day 3 the D is back. Of course I am still far far from the critical barrier of 8 weeks. I don’t want to cheer too early, but this is already real progress.

That's great Harma!!

Could you share your history of dosage? I've been on budesonide for two weeks @ 9mg/day and I''m ready to be off already. It's barely working at this dose but so far I have no luck without some sort of steroid which is maddening. I remember you said you had tapered your dose to the lowest level despite your doctor's opinion- did you just use trial and error?

I have been on, over 2 years, on 3 mg a day, and the last year on lets say 2 mg a day. It was going well until today, rumbling is starting again, but the most striking thing, I am sooooo tired after one evening out. That is for me a typical MC signal, so from tomorrow I will start taking again. Pity, but still I have the feeling I am really healing.
