It's insanity. I just learned Lipitor can also cause autoimmune muscle diseases, various forms of myositis. It's not just a transient risk of rhabdomyolisis, statins can cause a full-blown autoimmune disease!!

Heavens no! Perish, forbid that anyone should pay attention to those warnings. :sarcasmon: I'm sure that the FDA only requires putting such warnings on drugs so that manufacturers can use up more ink, and thereby support the ink industry. :lol:

Great...my doctor just put me back on Crestor. I guess with all the other problems I have I should stop taking it again. I would love to get off all these medications. It's so difficult to determine what side effects go with which problem/medication....ugh!
