The Latest Weight-Loss Diet - Eat Chocolate

Post by tex »

Yep, believe it or not, it's true, according to this study:

http://www.mlive.com/health/index.ssf/2 ... s_are.html

The article doesn't state whether or not the study was financed by the National Association of Chocolate Manufacturers, (if such a group actually exists).

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.

Well my husband should be down-right skinny!! I usually eat one or two squares of dark chocolate a day. Anymore can sometimes aggrave my MC. I enjoy allergen-free hot chocolate too (made with water, not milk), Guatemalan style.

HAH!!! Now I don't feel so guilty eating my 2 brownie squares a day. I make these very rich, 3 different kinds of chocolate, plus nuts, brownies and keep them in the freezer. No longer will I feel guilty eating these yummy morsels!! They are so rich and filling there is no urge to snack after eating one.

PS Having to spend time on the toilet is slightly more comforting with a small, warm dog on my lap. My new mini-wirehaired doxie thinks she may as well sit on my lap and get petted as long as I seem to doing nothing much but sitting. It does interfere with reading, however. :)))
