I've been grinding my flours using a coffee grinder. I have a good burr grinder but I think even the inexpensive ones may work better than a blender. I started grinding tapioca after some that I purchased had an "off" flavor. It still isn't as fine as what I've bought but it works. I've also ground rice, GF oats, nuts and flax. It's a lot less expensive than purchasing all those flours only to discover there are some you definitely don't like (Guilty!)
