Tex, I told my DH the same thing! The maggot was unbelievable. Now if my dust looked like that......hmmmm! :)

Those images were great. I work with both SEM and TEM microscopes all of the time and they can be a lot of fun. It's amazing what you can see in such detail.

As far as the images shown, they are great but keep in mind that SEM and TEM do not really take any images in color, they can assign a color to a density or greyscale level to provide what's called false color, it does help you visualize what your looking at.

They both are very useful tools.
