I need you all to keep your fingers, toes, etc. crossed for me. We are leaving on our transcontinental trip to Europe. We'll be on the ship (Celebrity Silhouette) for 13 days stopping in various ports in Europe, then in Rome for three days before flying home.
I have notified the ship of my food intolerences and also the airline for the trip home. I have packed some snacks. I'm sure on a ship with almost 4,000 people I will not be the only one with food issues.
There are 20 of us going together so it should be a fun time. The biggest thing I am excited about is sailing past the Statue of Liberty on our way out. It's suppose to be raining as we pass, but hopefully I'll still be able to see and get some pictures.
Talk to you all in a few weeks.

Hi Nancy..Bon Voyage!!!
It sounds like it will be a great time and I'm sure given all of your pre planning all will work out well. I'm sure the Imuran will help keep things settled down...
Now just one very very important question, do you need someone to carry your bags??
Or do you need your own personal trip photographer LOL
Take care and enjoy!

I have read that Italy is a great place to be with gluten-free issues. Nancy, I've cruised with GF issues and I found them to be very accommodating.
