My review on the new Elisabeth Hasselbeck book

Post by bevfromwa »

I wanted to share my opinion of her new book, GLORIOUSLY G-FREE. My local library was nice enough to order the book for our library, and put me number one on the waiting list. This saved me $30! In all fairness, she has celiac, and apparently no other food allergies. There are lots of recipes, beautifully illustrated, that will work for only gluten intolerance. But for me and so many others on this board -- GF, SF, DF that I know about through Enterolab testing, it just doesn't work. So much cheese, sour cream, etc.

I guess what people miss most is desert! She has so many cakes, cupcakes, cookies, etc. Well, for one thing, it really makes me appreciate our own Dee of Dee's Kitchen. There are so many recipes in the Kitchen that I've successfully tried.

Anyway, for what it's worth, thought I should pass this on.

Regards to all, Beverly

Beverly,
Take a look at Gluten Free Delight magazine. In the front of each issue, they have a chart on which they break their recipes down by food sensitivity.
