With the small amount of food I usually eat at each meal or snack it would make sense to save the Betaine for a time when I'm going to eat a larger or more protein laden meal. That is when I feel bloated and nauseated. I didn't feel anything at all in my stomach when I took the Betaine and the reaction I did get was a few hours later. I started keeping a food diary last week and that should help in figuring out what is triggering which symptom. This disease can become life-consuming. It helps to know all the rest of the "potty people" are in the same boat and if they can suck it up and get it done, so can I. If only the disease would remain static it would be easier to live with. It seems every week or two there is another issue.
Thanks again.
