We are *struting* proud as a :turkey: (actually a Peacock) :clap:

Tex can U stick in a PEACOCK-----I luve that beautiful bird~~~

Anyway to continue----Out of a graduating class of 383, Kait ranks !!!85!!!
Now is that spunk---guts---to continue to educate herself thru all this *crap* she has been thru!!!!!

And consellor has written a most praising letter to the college,Mount St. Mary's College, which is not to far from home,a smaller school which will be good for her to re-aquaint herself with the world and society--
The counsellor called Kait his *HERO* :cry:

The dorms are nice---and security all over the place---

At last, a break for Kait to become part of the world---BUT :lol: --she has to watch her *mouth* --so like her grams :star:
U cant *magine* what she can say :oops: ---due to the fact ,during her stay in the hospitals when no-one *listened* to her warnings when a malfunction was starting---this taught her some *whopper* wording!!! :lol:
But, this finally got into the neuros *heads* that Kait DID know her body and what was going on!!!!

Like we all DONT know our bodies and the signals that give us a warning and the doc.s look @ us like we are MORONS!!!!

YEAAAAAAAA KAIT-----go Kait go--- :cheerleader:

So this is something to stick out my :boobs: with pride!!!!! (well not uncovered :lol: :lol:

Even though its *pouring rain* I feel the sunshine right thru my body!!!!

Barbara, I wanted a congratulations icon on this one. The size of the screen because she definitely deserves it.

Tell her all of her grandmoms on this board - :party: are going to throw a real party to congratulate her. Apologize for speaking for everyone but I know we all have to feel proud of her.

Thats the news we've all been waiting for! She is an inspiration.

Do keep us posted on her post HS plans. Does she have a major picked? Or will she try a bunch of stuff first? She will take the world by storm now. I hope she can be such an inspiration for others going through tough times. She has such a knowledge of what its like to be a rock bottom and persevere!

Oh Barbara-

What wonderful news!! This positive outcome just brings tears to my eyes :cry:

I keep remembering Kait's initial surgery was about 2 weeks after Elyse was born - she's now almost 3 and Kait's life has been a nightmare for the majority of that time - so sad - but such a wonderful turn of events :grin: :grin:

She should be so proud of her accomplishments and *I* am so proud of the constant love and support your family has all shown during these difficult past few years.....

Defintely something to :cheerleader:

This is awesome new's about Kait. It's just amazing really, that she has been able to maintain her schooling while going through the medical problems/procedures she's had to endure and suffer from for so long.

Not only has she maintained, she's far exceded expectations! I'm sure this is blowing lot's of folks out of the water, including myself. What an inspiration Kait is. Thanks for sharing, you proud Grandma. :smile:

Your post's title caught my eye, and you are right, that is SUPER NEWS about our Kait!!!

The college sounds perfect. I believe she'll do well on a small campus close to home, but it will give her a sense of independence. I'll just bet that she's way ahead of her peers in terms of maturity due to all she's had to fight her way through, and to come out of all this with such a good position in her graduating class is just amazing.

Wish I could put some little fancy, dancing things on here to show how happy I am for you and Kait, but I'm not sure that's possible on webtv.
