We had our picnic lunch in a beautiful spot right on the ocean at Woodgate and there were many birds to keep us company. These two Kookaburras stayed with us the whole time and occasionally flew across in our shelter almost touching us and serenaded us with their unique call. A dutch friend used to call them the "Ha Ha Birds"
Had a bad experience on the way up there. Almost did not make it to the loo in Childers. Called in to one petrol station and it apparently did not have a public loo. Robert ran in and told the woman my situation but she did not seem to care and it was all systems go to try to get to the one 10 minutes up the road before I either burst or had an unfortunate accident. The pain was dreadful. That woman will have very bad Karma I reckon.

They must have a toilet for the use of staff so I really don't see how she could not have made an exception under the circumstances.
