Back- AGAIN!

Post by natythingycolbery »

I'm really rubbish at being on here! I always forget about you, which I shouldn't given all the support you have all given me since my diagnosis in 2010.

So here is yet another quick update on my life. And yet another hope that I will stay around a bit more than last time.

I'm back at uni for my final year, and I am stressed out, but they university are helping me deal with that by offering me extra support for all my work, especially my dissertation (Doctor Who here I come!). Been here for 6 weeks now and it honestly does feel like I haven't left!

The change in my diet is going well, I am managing to avoid a lot of the things I am intolerant too, however, there have been a few slip ups. And although I am avoiding things most of the time, I still have the occasional flare up, which I think may well be stress related as I have been dealing with a lot of personal and family issues this year. But I am trying to not let this get me down too much.

So yeah, that's my update, and maybe I will be around a bit more in the future.

Hi Katy,

Yep, stress is a major contributor to MC symptoms.

Good luck with your course work, and thanks for the update.

It's good to hear from you again, Katy. So glad the university is working with you. I'm sorry that the family issues are still causing you stress, and hope that those can be resolved.

Love,
Martha
