Endocort in divided doses. Another question?

I know that the full dose of Endocort is supposed to be taken in one dose once a day. I am wondering if anyone out there has taken taken the Endocort in divided doses and has been able to sucessfully control the MC symptoms. I need to be on the 9mg a day at this point in time but that seems to be an overload to my system.

HI Camie,
I took all 9 mg at once, but I know there are others here who took one capsule 3 times a day and said they had good results from it. Of course now that I'm looking for the thread I can't find it so I'm hoping they'll chime in for you. If I find the thread I'll post it.

Hi Camie,
I've always taken mine 1st thing in the morning all at once but I haven't seen any side affects either. So hope you can find the magical combination so you can start feeling well again.

Hi Camie. I am actually the one that took one pill with each meal. Why? I wasn't told otherwise and it was working, so I never changed it. I don't know how I would have felt if I took them all at once, but since I do my gym workout mostly in the morning, taking three of them at once seemed like a lot. When It was time to titrate down, I simply took the dinner pill out first and so on. I hope it works for you. It's worth a try :)

I did one pill, 3 times a day. I'm down to one pill once a day and take it as soon as I get up. I've had great success with minimal side effects.

I took mine in divided doses throughout the day. Doc said I could take them any way I wanted.. to see what worked for me.

I used to take 9 mg/day in the morning and now am at 3mg. I originally took them (and prednisone before that) right before bed because I didn't know any better and it caused horrible issues with my sleep. No one from the medical community thought to mention it's best in the AM which I found very frustrating. My RX was filled in the evening and I wanted to take a dose ASAP but should have waited until the morning. I still have issues with sleep but not nearly as bad. Do you tolerate a 6mg dose better where you could give that a try?
