New Lawn bowls are great

Tried my new bowls out yesterday. I just love them. Getting my confidence back I think. Don't have the strength in my wrist & hand anymore due to residual problems after last year and arthritis getting worse and I was dropping my old ones and dumping them.

Had a lovely day with 50 visitors from another district who had travelled about 4 hours to get to our green and would have the same trip back after the game. Some would have even further to go as they are farmers and would then have to travel home to their properties after the coach dropped them off in town. :coach: Of course we gave them a nice morning tea & lunch to fortify them. A good time was had by all.

Sounds like you had a great time! It's rainy and gray here in the NW....some fun in the sun would be just the ticket!
