Well, when I took Pebbles out around 7am this morning I expected to see allot of snow on the ground, and it just wasn't there. Got a little, but nothing much. The kids are the ones that drove right into the mouth of the snow storm. My mom and I called each other every so often, and the kids were text messaging me from the truck. They didn't get into my mom's till after 2am, and said that sometimes they couldn't see even a foot in front of them, and didn't even know if they were actually still on the road!!! BUT they took there time, there was nothing they could do but that. They left my mom's at around 11am today, but it had started to snow once again. NOW I am waiting to hear from them to make sure they got there safely. Apparently, where they were going is my old home town, Timmins, home of Shania Twain, and they are still getting dumped on today. My mom said that they showed it on the news there, and they have tonnes of snow, snow blowers are out because that is the only way to move the stuff. I have to laugh here in Toronto, the guy next door is always working on cars, likes to restore older ones, but you just know that he loves the sound of a motor running. Well, we might have an inch, at the very most, and you can hear him brum, brumming with his snow blower, moving ALL that snow out of his driveway.
I shouldn't talk to soon though, we are still supposed to get some snow today.
Got Pebbles a little pair of boots for her to go outside in the snow with. SO cute with her little ski jacket. Last year she was getting a touch of arthritis in her front paws, thought this might help make it easier on her. But it was also that they were sooooo cute. Maybe mostly because they were so cuter. Yeah, it was.
Gentle hugs
Wendy
