In the Sahara with Monique

The wedding is over, family has left after a week of fun and festivities. After a long nap this afternoon, I started Monique's book. Of course, in my mind's eye, the heroine looks like Monique and her quirky sense of humor evident. Casablanca comes to life, her characters sharply drawn, a body has been found and the adventure begins. I'm looking forward to the comfort of my favorite chair and a good book to rejuvenate my exhausted body.

Ah, the Sahara. When my late husband used to come home and ask me how was my day, I'd say, well, I was hot and thirsty and miserable, I spent my day in the desert...
