If I were in that situation, I would stop eating yoghurt, and then after I was doing better, I would try the rice again.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
I know , it's so hard to know what to do with this whole diet thing. If I was in your shoes, I would try again soon.... maybe for three days and see if it gets progressively better ( or worse) with each day. If rice doesn't work, I would try sweet potato next. It's a long process. I hope you find some success soon
RE: meds and supplements, my docs' approach with me has been, less is more. Cut the meds that are obvious triggers, which in my case were an SSRI and NSAIDs. I never took PPIs, but some here have found benefits from stopping them. Cut any vitamins/supplements that contain questionable ingredients. Cut probiotics, which may not, in fact, help. Get back to bare bones.
I did use Entocort for almost a year and it helped me immensely to get things settled down.
The thing is, each of us has to develop our own treatment plan, because this disease is very individualized. What worked for me won't necessarily work for you. It's trial and error, long and tedious. You just have to start, and then expect setbacks and re-starts. Believe me, I am the least patient person around, and this LC journey has been an exercise in humility for me, helped only by the folks I have met here.
Rest assured, you will get your life back, if you just read and listen here, then figure out a starting place and take a step at a time.
Excellent post! And your doctor definitely has the right idea, IMO.
