Thanks everyone. Funeral went well and it was good to see everyone. Sat through the luncheon with no plate. Felt a bit weird but not worth the risk. I did find it humorous that I couldn't find even one thing that would be ok. Most people do a quick scan of the buffet to see what will fit on their plate. We do a scan of the buffet to go through the checklist of the minefield we may choose to embark upon.
Carrots, cauliflower, broccoli: too hard
Dip: dairy and soy
Pickles: tempting
Mashed potatoes: what's hiding in them? Butter, soy?
Stuffing and gravy: hahaha
Green beans: tempting but what's in the water?
Chicken: can't do chicken, yuk
Ham: tempting but I know better
Assortment of breads and butter: yeah, right.
Milk or chocolate milk: dairy
Cake: mmmm, I miss cake
Water: fill 'er up
Coffee: half cup, not too bad but better with my chocolate almond milk (at home)
The pork chop in the purse is a splendid idea.

will need to start carrying a purse or get deeper pockets.
Thanks for teaching me so well potty people!! Not fun at all to be odd man out but I am sitting here right now without a belly ache and hopes of continued fluffy poops! One slow step at a time. Family and friends went out to the bar afterwards and I snuck home for a late safe lunch and a little quiet time. I'm ok with that.
