Wanted to say Thank you so much for cards

This year I have gotten so many Christmas cards from my friends here and I want you all to know just how much it has meant to me. Each and every card has given me another smile, and I appreciate them all. They are special to me because they are from friends that I have made here, people that understand so much more because they have gone through many of the same things. Or, are really good at listening. So thanks for listening and for all your time spent giving others comfort, and hope in some small way that I have done the same for you at one time or another.
This year I just didn't get the cards out, so much is packed away and I have just not had the energy to go looking. So please accept my thanks, and get ready for a great big cyber hug....

No-one needs to apologize for not sending cards, lots of people don't send them. They take a lot of time, they can get very expensive, they can be just another chore for those that already have so much to do over the holidays, etc.
