Hiya dear friends--

Well Kait is home--with a bulging head--pain---and they will do the plate on January 3rd!!!! CUS, HARTER wants to be there and right now he is on VACATION----- :banned: Harter!!!!

And we are spending our Christmas with Doug and Lori tonight, cus she is going to see sick granny for the weekend----Doug stays home to take care of the :animalchase:
Now her granny has been bleeding,from the rectum, SO they put her into THERAPY for her ARM?????? BEATS me--- :whatever:
When Xplained to Lou and I,earlier this week, sounded as if granny was on the *last* road??? DONT ASK!!!!!!

We are bringing dinner to them---and I have a few more things to wrap--

And all stuff thats out for helping osteo----gives me immense GASTRO PAIN!!!! I started taking ACTONEL again and by god had the worse chest pain,thru the back, and was in :cry: --
Thats it!!!! I will not go thru this anymore----and I am allowed to take my aciphex(nexium) with the Actonel to prevent this--- :twisted: I drank the club soda---BIG BURPS--felt relief---then it started a wee bit,so I guzzled some Mylanta--anf that settled it all-- :cry: again----
Now I have had all the down the throat *oscopies*--yes I do,as most of us have, a hiatal hernia--- :mad:

I just dont understand WHY it takes hours before I get this reaction????

Anyone got an answer for that??? GALAHAD!!!!

Today I am really in a :mad: mood--

Other than that ??? Being alive is really wonderful~~~~

Barb I am sorry you felt so bad. I take caltrate 600 on the advice of my rhuemy Dr. I go back in eight weeks and will ask for some Mobic for the other knee that isn't fixed yet. I hope you have a better next few days. And I hope Kait has a good xmas. Love Oma

I know about that stuff Barb, its a killer. Sometimes you have to wonder if the treatment is worse then the disease. My bone density has improved to the point where they do not think that I have to take antonel or any of the other stuff for the osteoporosis, HOW you may ask? Well apparently it is the only good thing about gaining weight! I am not kidding, either. When I was 36 years old and a more normal weight then now, my results were that my neck was like someone over the age of 90, and my hips were like someone over the age of 80. At the last tests they did I had the guy explain it to me, because now they are somewhere close to my age, but closer then they were, and older then I really am. He said that the bones improve with caring more weight much the same as if I did weight lifting which improves bone density. Now that is a very simplified explanation, but that is why he said that my bones improved so much. I was told by an expert in Osteoporosis that the meds themselves would never be able to improve the density of my bones on their own. I always wondered how the heck they were getting better when I kept forgetting (regularly to take the atonel) and here it was because I was getting fat!

So get fat and you won't need to take the meds that kill your stomach. Just kidding. You will have to get some more advice on this is it is affecting you that much. I also have the reflux disease and hiatel hernia thing so I had major troubles taking it, that is why I kept forgetting to take it. But I was never told to not take the stomach meds I was on while taking that med either. I have been taking one stomach med or another for many, many years, but now it is Nexium, and we are trying to use Dicetel instead of taking the 8 domperidone everyday. All I know is that if I don't take it I have major episodes of throwing up in the middle of the night, or sometimes in the day when I least expect it. Nexium helps allot.

But I know what you can go through and the pain is out of this world. Maybe the doctors can get together and decide on a better method of treatment for you as you can't deal with this all the time.

And boy oh boy you do have allot of stuff going on around you all the time that doesn't help, does it?

I have a few more things to do, but we are making this a much easier Christmas then ever before. It will be pretty quiet here.
