Bet you just can't wait Peg. What do you do in Mexico? Do you sight see or just veg out or what?
I wish we could get a bit more heavier rain here. Except for a few heavy showers during the night it is only light rain. We need it so badly. All the dams are still way down & we still have water restrictions in place.
Do you have lots of around in the rain?

We do a little of both while on vacation. Lots and lots of walking! Lots of reading, lots of relaxation, lots of eating...some sight-seeing, but not too much. It can get stressful having to be up at certain time to catch the bus, doncha know!?
Haven't seen to many froggies - at least not here in the city
We have had a few frogs around lately so it may be a good sign that more rain is on the way. Havn't had a good wet season here for years & the frogs just seemed to disappear. Before we remodelled our house we had high windows in the front & it was almost the nights entertainment to watch & count them as they climbed up & caught insects. There would be a dozen or more at times.
We don't like structured holidays either. Just like to get up in the morning & think "now what will we do today" Could not stand an organised bus tour although I went on many 8 - 12 day tours with bowls when I was involved with QLBA but that wasn't really a holiday. More work & PR with a little bit of bowls & sightseeing thrown in. Very tight schedules visiting 1-2 clubs each day with often 100's of miles in between.
