For some years now, I have been following a controversial «underground» nutriotional practicioner/Heilpraktiker in my home town. He believes in traditional nutrition only. His philosophy is that we should eat only meat from grassfed animals and wild animals, and drink only unpasteurized milk. Fruits and vegetables only in small portions, and always together with animal products.
The reason why people get sick nowadays, in his opinion, is because humans started to eat grains some 200 years ago, and because Louis Pasteur got a crazy idea of cooking cow’s milk.
According to his philosophy the lack of vitamin B12 alone, or in combination with the lack of other nutrients, results in a huge variety of what we today call autoimmune diseases, such as :
Diabetes 1 and 2, MS, ALS, CFS, fibromyalgia, neuropathie, shrinking of the brain, autism, ADHD, epilepsi, Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, dyslecsia, blindness, deafness, depression, suicide, aggression, loss of gut- and bladder control, muscle atrophy, lack of sense of smell/taste/touch, numerous intestinal diseases, lowered stomach acid production, lack of nutritional absorbtion, heart disease, hypo- and hyper thyreosis, bad adrenal function/Addison’s, various forms of anemia, and several kinds of cancer etc.
All these, appearantly independent condtions and diagnoses, are all due to the lack of vitamin B12.
He doesn’t recognise gluten intolerance or casein intolerance. He means that if we eat raw meat and unpasteurized milk, we can tolerate it. It’s the pasteurization of the milk that makes us sick. But, he agrees that there is no way we can «treat» corn, in order to be able to digest it. Corn is not meant for human beings, and it has no nutriotional value.
According to him, this also means that both for the medical industry, for doctors and pshychiatrists, - the lack of vitamin B12 is a huge source of income.
I believe in his acknowledgement of how important B12 is for us. However, for people with MC who cannot feed themselves with all what nature has to offer, we have to depend on supplements. And, as for the cow’s milk? I can live without it, and I don’t know of any farmer who would dare to sell me unpasteurized milk in the year of 2015. That's how obedient we have become...
Oh, I forgot salt. Salt is important to us; but not the refined "table salt". Unrefined, unbleached sea salt is important for our heart and our digestion.
