Have you noticed any symptoms since you've been using that product? The label says "Soy Free", and your description sounded so good that I decided to try it. The first time I tried it everything seemed OK. But after that I began to wake up with a fairly severe stiff and sore back, and after the second day gas and minor D showed up. And then a few other joints developed stiffness and pain, and a few muscles began to ache.
Initially I blamed my symptoms on some bell peppers that I had decided to add to some chili to see if I could tolerate them. But the backache and D continued long after the chili should have been out of my system. So it took me several days before it dawned on me what was causing the problems. Yesterday I skipped the chocolate syrup and this morning my back was much, much better, almost back to normal. And no more gas or D.
Now I'll need to determine if I'm sensitive to chocolate, or something else in the product. I note that it's mostly corn syrup, so maybe that's the problem. I only used a small amount though, and I can tolerate a fair-size glob of blackberry jam on pancakes, so maybe the corn syrup itself is the problem, rather than too much sugar. Or maybe there's something in there that's not obvious on the label.
Anyway, I was just wondering if you've noticed any of these symptoms since you began using that product.
