Since I'm computer illiterate I'm just summing up the results of my more extensive Enterolab test I took recently. Now that I make the normal amount of anti bodies for the test I wanted to see where I was at after 3 years of diet changes. Plus I'm in an unpleasant flare which also sparked the go ahead to spend the big bucks.....let's just say I bought a new vehicle and have A LOT of towels in case of an accident.
Fecal Anti-gliadin IgA 12 units
Fecal Anti-casein IgA 5 units
Fecal Anti-ovalbumin IgA 6 units
Fecal Anti-soy IgA 5 units
Mean value 11 Antigenic foods 3 units
Heres the real kicker....I showed No significant immunological reactivity to ANY of the foods tested. Corn, Oat, Rice, Beef, Chicken, Pork, Tuna, Almond, Walnut, Cashew, White Potato.
This is fabulous news because I eat a lot of almonds, rice, peas, potato and all of those meats rotated. I've also been really clean about make up (always wondering if soy was still in there) and other products. So these results are 3 years of hard work.......but now where do I look? My poop has always been soft since diagnosis and now I'm back to pooping my pants and wondering what today will bring.
I wonder if that 12 units of Anti-gliadin is where my concern should be. I really have no idea where I could be getting gluten...but I think this result can be normal after 3 years even. Supplements, environmental, stress (I don't feel that stressed, especially now
