Precautions for Doctor

In updating my medicine list for an upcoming doctor appointment, I have listed the meds I take. I thought it would be prudent to list the things that the majority with MC can't take.

Unless absolutely necessary, do not prescribe:
NSAID's
Most antibiotics (I think Z-pak is the safest) - I know they really need to prescribe the one that will treat your infection.:roll:
Steroids (due to glaucoma).

Can anyone add to this list in regard to MC?

Thank you for replying Tex. I remembered PPIs right after I posted, but not the others....so thank you!

It seems that I've read somewhere on the forum that there is one SSRI that did not seem to affect MC, but I could be wrong. I'm going to try to avoid these drugs, but know that may not always be possible, depending on what comes my way in life.

Some members have found that Wellbutrin (bupropion) does not adversely affect MC, and it's been shown to have fewer adverse side effects than virtually all other antidepressant/anti-anxiety meds. It's not an SSRI, though. It's actually a norepinephrine-dopamine reuptake inhibitor (NDRI).
