Just as I was ready to leave for Yoga, Lynn called and this is what is NOT going on~~~~over and done~~~

They checked the shunt---everthing is working---Dr.HARTER said to Lynn---*We cannot keep opening this child up--Im so afraid that one of these operations will kill her----and the 3 neuros are *STYMIED* as to giving Lynn a reason/Xplanantion/something
She will have to deal with the pain(with meds) and a concern there- cus of what/dosage/amount---they dont want to run into this over-dosing--

They finally admitted they DONT KNOW whats wrong!!!
Lynn is a total basket case and was talking in such an unstableized manner that I am very worried about her~~~

Dr.Harter is calling the Neuro in Phoenix and from there ??????

I dont know what to think/feel--actually I cant even FEEL???
I went to YOGA.which for me is very ABNORMAL,cus over the years I would sink into myself and crawl up in the bed!!!

What happens to Kait now---I really dont know--

So,I have said all that I can--I believe they are sending Kait home tomorrow and where the road leads--who knows!!

Hi Barbara,

If Harter is going to confer with the neuro in Phoenix, that's the best news I've heard in a long time. I can't help but feel that something good will come of that.

I agree with Wayne, this could be the news we've been waiting on! I'm glad they have finally stepped up to the plate and ADMITTED that they don't know what is going on!

I sure hope this will bring some answers!

The issue being that the last shunt---was performed in the manner that the Neuro in Phoenix---recommended to this bunch in NYC---
Perhaps *all* these ops. have NOT been needed???

the neuros, @ New York University, inserted the shunt- in this guys manner???

Lynn, feels that she has to get to Phoenix!!!!
Actually,being Lynn alone is not a very healthy thing for her----she has no support~~~
Sometimes they way she talks*scares* me but I know she wouldnt end it all~~~

We keep telling her(which she knows) Doug has been living his life,since 28, this way----pain--pain-pain---he deals with pain management--
As we all say, dont care about the other persons ailments when your child,@ this neat age of almost 18, hasnt enjoyed a damn thing-

Kait had much *fight* but she is now giving up---I assume its cus she sees *mom* way down in that black hole~~

Morning Lady B,

Well I am glad that finally Harter "gave in" and is willing to consult with the Phoenix doctor and hopefully that will be the saving grace. In the back of my mind I keep wondering if Lynn really wants to get to the Phoenix doctor so she will be nearer to you and Lou. She still has to try not to put the burden of this you the two of you.

Love you and continue to pray for Kait and I am sure she will grow into a healthy and vital woman. God must have great plans for her!!
