Sorry to hear of the illness. I haven't used Levaquin, but I used Ciprofloxacin (which as you know is also a fluoroquinolone) for 10 days several years ago to finish a series of dental procedures after I had an allergic reaction to Bactrim, and I didn't seem to have any significant problems with it. It may have temporarily made my tinnitus worse, but I've had tinnitus for over 35 years. The best part is that the fluoroquinolones virtually never cause any MC problems. They're also broad-spectrum antibiotics, so hopefully the Levaquin will resolve whatever might be causing your problems without creating any new ones.

I'm gonna throw something out there for you to research....because it has really been working well for me since the beginning of April. Below is the link where I got the two article copies and I have been using the rxsilver.com solution a teaspoon everyday.....if this can help you without killing off any of the good bacteria that you may still have in your gut you may not have to take such abuse with regular antibiotics (this can increase the effectiveness of antibiotics so one round of medication would be very potent)....and I am not having any waterD with this protocol, it is not affecting my MC what so ever.
I sure hope you feel better soon....if you do have anything bacterial going on, even a yeast overgrowth this will work on removing it from the body....it is very effective and has been safe for me so far.

I’ve tried silver short term for other issues. My husband and neighbor tried it for Lyme, and it seemed to work at first, but then they relapsed with symptoms.
Maybe they didn’t take it long enough? I don’t know.
It’s worth a shot though!
I really appreciate your advice.
PS.....who is Dr Silence Dogood??

Yes I do not think your husband or neighbor used it long enough....from what I have read it can take over a year of use to slowly get the toxin of Lyme out of the body....you can't do it quickly with the silver as the die off symptoms could be greatly uncomfortable.
If it were me I'd use the silver as suggested by Dr Dogood (a pseudonym, he must not want recognition for his studies) along with the doxycycline and that would increase its potency quite a bit ( have read that on other sites as well as this pdf)....if you stay on the silver after your medication is complete I bet you stand to have a great chance of beating that disease! But that is what I would do now that I have learned all the great benefits of using silver (and I have used a few of them already with really good results).
I have been getting nice results from saccromeceyes boulardii also (it is a good food yeast probiotic)....both of these items have not hurt my MC/LC what so ever, I still have decent normans.
Take care, and here is to progress throughout this healing process.

So you don't actually have Lyme disease, you have another (maybe worse) tick-borne disease that's carried by the same ticks. Bummer for sure. Glad you caught it in time and got a correct diagnosis and treatment. It sounds as though you are doing everything right. I hope this nips it in the bud so that there won't be any after effects. And it's good to hear that the antibiotic hasn't caused any MC problems so far.
Thanks for the update and the best of luck to you during the rest of the treatment.

That's better than I realized, if there are no after effects.
I'm still doing OK. The summer would be a lot more fun if it weren't for this severe drought and continuous 100-degree days.

Cool rain gloomy days or hot hot humid days. Too extreme!
The cdc website says 14 days of antibiotic for me. The doc wants 21, but I don’t want to push my luck either way....not sure when I’ll stop it....I’m a bit of a rebel when it comes to antibiotics....hate them, but they were necessary in this case, just don’t want to over do it.
I just hate being in the predicament.....
Anyway, hope you get some relief soon!
It’s goood to connect with you!
