What to do with urinary tract infections

Post by dolson »

If I have a flair - many times in the bathroom, I end up with a UTI. It hurts. Luckily I had two or three Cipros and I took one. The UTI was gone. If I wear DEPENDS and they don't hold up well, I will get an infection. Nothing on it except a small amount of urine. Had a good day, no bathroom visits but the urine on the DEPENDS rubbed and gave me a urinary tract infection. Luckily, I had an antibiotic to take before it gained control and it killed the infection. A UTI is one of the worst things to get. It hurts!

What do y'all do? Any problems with DEPENDS falling apart and rubbing on your genitals. Thanks, Dorothy

Mom has late stage alzheimers. I have her take a daily dose for prevention.

I take it before intimacy.

Brandy,

You recommended Manoose to me a few years ago when I was recently diagnosed and felt like I constantly had a UTI - I couldn't get over how well it worked! I still use it from time to time and always have some on my shelf!

I was going to write a detailed explanation, but the site at the link below appears to provide a very thorough explanation (which will save me a lot of typing):

Treat and Prevent UTIs Without Drugs

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.

You can buy Manoose at Kroger's Grocery Store. I looked at your article,Tex, and I could not find how to order. I did not know you could buy it at a store. I think Amazon sells it too. Rather buy at Kroger since Amazon treats their employees poorly. They have to carry around bottles to urinate. I feel sorry for them. No company should treat their customers in this ill-manner. My pain goes out to Amazon's employees.

This is a good prevention and we don't have to worry about antibiotics. I've taken enough of them to kill me. This is wonderful news. You learn so much valuable information on Tex's site, it's remarkable! Dorothy
