Well what the?
I have normal BMs 3 days in a row and on the 3rd day in P.M., I have a loose stool. Then it starts over. been going on for 3 weeks. I cycle the same veggies and meats and broth. The only thing I can think of is hystamine reaction of some sort. Weather is hot and humid and sometimes smoky from fires in So. Cal. Taking allegra and benadryl. I really am on a basic foods and greenish bananas. Any ideas?

Just thinking out loud here. With a schedule that regular, it almost has to be something that you are always eating (or drinking) that third day (or the day before). Look at your food rotation pattern. Is there something that you always eat every third day (but not the other days). Or are you going somewhere, or doing anything differently every third day? Or maybe this will give someone else some ideas, so that they can figure out the problem.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
Thanks Tex and Brandy! I am evaluating everything again and will give you an update. I think maybe stress. We haven't traveled since I got MC so every time I think about a first trip I get a little panicky. The loose stool is more of a nuisance. I eat at 5 pm so that isn't it. I will keep working on it.
