Palm Starch

Hi!
Just curious if anyone has experience with palm starch? I recently tried a seemingly clean coconut cereal (three ingredients), organic and gluten free, paleo, etc. that contained it and not feeling the best. I am very tuned into the simple and clean diet I've stuck to and have been feeling really amazing overall. I researched it online, understanding the wariness of most additive 'starches'... but this one appeared benign from all angles.
Any insight or experience greatly appreciated!
