Naturopath visit and IGa stool testing in Canada?

Post by Cynthia »

Hi everyone,

I had a good visit with my naturopath yesterday and he was quite supportive of everything I was doing. I told him, that in my case I do believe, that in 2016 the SIBO aspect of my illness was so severe that without the Rifaxamin treatment I don’t believe I could have achieved remission so quickly. Diet alone would have done it eventually, I am sure, but it was nice to get things under control, kick starting it like we did back then. And when I had the bacterial infection from Mexico recently, the antibiotics took my D from 10-20 times per day down to 3-4 in the morning, and then after dinner, so that was a nice change for me too.

I showed the doc all the information from Enterolabs and he seemed to think that we offer that same IGA stool testing for food sensitivities in Canada now. With the exchange rate and another 75.00 for the FedEx, if that’s true, it would really be helpful for other Canadians out there.

So I mention that in case it is something that people might want to ask their naturopath about. And compare with what EnteroLab offers, etc. If similar testing is available close to home and would save money, it would be great! Initially, this disease can really rack up the bills.

Hope that helps someone out there.
