Marsha and all---Kait&Lynn+McDonald House

Well, Ronald McDonald House PUT us up for the night~~~~

Isnt that awesome!!! When we got there,and the lady heard we drove in from Tucson, she told us that they also accomodate family members for an over-night stay!!! Cupboards filled with snacks---books--tapes to watch--amazing!!!!

So, once again I thank U MARSHA for Xtending your hospitality--

This Phoenix Airport is for the birds!!!! Many times we flew there but now it has Xpanded and we drove round and round--keep hitting the exit ways-- ---and looking @ the signs---DONT!!! back to the XIT----
They got in earlier---baggage rolling into another area than what was told us--so here we are standing /watching baggage from 3 other planes rolling onto the tram???
Then told---OOPS gotta go to the other side???

Thank goodness for RONALD putting us up--I didnt think I would be so drained---cus we also took Lynn shopping for things she liked--etc.

The place is amazing----security/kitchenS/refrigerator"S/computer room/great room for Lynn--with everything U could Need---
The dinner meal is cooked by different organizations that volunteer to do this!!
Security----oh, I already said that--rides for Lynn back and forth to the hospital~~~~~
I could go on and on------what a wonderful place---many,many mothers ,with their children in neuro. surgery~~~~
The only thing that *upset* me was seeing the *plate* that was inserted--The side of her head is still *indented* even with the plate??? We hadnet seen it cus it was done while we were here in AZ>
We left early this morning and naturally am home now----and back to packing--UFF!!

Kait---who WAS a very UN-EMOTIONAL child----was hugging/kissing us/telling how much she loves us~~~~begging us to stay and not go home to NY---chatting with me---holding my hands--
Just pulled @ my strings~~~
We have never seen her like this---Kait would say Hi and Bye!!
Lou and I looked @ each other !!
Perhaps its being soooooooo far from home--??
Also knowing that gramps was always there to help?? but not this time?

Whatever, it be----it was wonderful to HEAR Kait say I LUVE U SO MUCH!!!

Well I think I posted enuf-----now it is wait and see time--and get back home to watch Kristyn----

I'm glad they made it to AZ. I have everything crossed that she will find her answers with this doc. She was doing so well there for a while. I'm sure Kait is scared out of her wits. Poor kid...she's been through SO much. But you know that.

Smooth sailing to you too as you finish packing and travel home.

Wow, Don't know how you and Lou stood it. I'd have cried all the way back to AZ. Maybe you did.
