I have done 3 quilt tops in the last few weeks & have quilted 2. The first one is Jane's. I thought it would cheer her after her accident.


This one is for my son-in-law Balan & will be travelling to New Zealand with us. One of the reasons that my port is almost full before I have even thought about our stuff.

Time is running faster now----threw everything into cases and in the trunk--AND now I am looking for A BRA--
and where are they???? Packed for the trip home
and I wont DARE ask,U KNOW WHO, to ravage thru the suitcases and taped boxes---
What the hell--will plop along and not worry---

With the baggy sweat tops who could tell

Have heard nothing from Lynn---so that means she has nothing to inform us of----I guess???

Those are beautiful - so colourful.

I have a friend who does quilts. She used to do a lot of other sewing, but when she started quilting she didn't want to do anything else.
She has beautiful sewing machines and just invested in a computerized machine that does embroidery. I haven't seen it yet, but as soon as I get over this flu I'm going over to see it.

You sure have talent Liz - the recipients of your gifts are very lucky!

My grandmother embroidered a penguin, intended for a center square of a quilt to be given to me on my birthday but passed away before she could complete the quilt. I have the square tucked away for safe keeping.
