UPDATE ON KAIT~~~~~ :O(

I am totally off------wait till U read this story--

Kait had a bad mal-function last night----cranial pressure build up---shunt totally clogged---Vomiting continuously---
Lynn left the house @ midnight and got to NewYorkUniversity Hospital @ 2:30 this morning and up to this time which is 2:30---she is still in ER room--
HarTer---that asshole came in @ 5:30 this morning and said he would push Kait ahead and get to her----and she is still waiting--

I am a more than I told Lou this is all HarTer;s screw ups---HarTer belongs in the sewer with the rest of the garbage---He never did as he said he would when all this shi* hit the fan---he said she didnt need a shunt and let her come home right after the plastic surgery----and @ first he said---her original shunt wasnt working*duh*,if not Kait would have been sick for all her years before seeing him., how stupid can this nero-surgeon be!!!
He was to keep kait in the hospital(all this started back in Dec.2002) with an XTERNAL shunt--to watch the pressure BUT he didnt--he sent her home(staying with us) and that night she was puking and screemingin pain---rush back to other Hospital(Westerchester) which is no bargain either!!!!

When I say *indentation* on the side of her head,I mean *sunken in*
and now cus of the build up of fluid---Lynn told me that the side of her head looks like a basball ready to split open---and this happened once---I saw it all---like the ZyderZee dam that sprung a leak!!! horrible thing to watch~~
If I could I would chop HarTers hands off---hang them over the hospital doorway with a sign saying* Uneducated---incompatent---and dont know a thing(being nice)
Then would be his ballz---shove them down his throat and see if he can figure out what the problem is!!! Lets see how HARD a case he might be~~~~~

If he says *Kait is a hard case,I will take my 2 fingers and shove them where the sun dont shine---
The neuro on call couldnt even get some of the fluid out????

I am so,so very furious~~~~~

And that thing of their dad is a real up!!!

Thats it----we all thought ,seeing how she bounced back from going to the junior ball that it would be all *UP* the ladder for her now but guess one shouldnt stab @ *guessing*


Ive had it---I have filled enuf of God's BAG but it just seems to fall back on-top of me!!!!

Now the issue of Kristyn---please--please please I begged Lou---I cannot watch her----she is 14---no trouble but @ this point I am thinking of my own sanity@!!! This was followed by a HUGH fight!!!

Oh Barbara :( I'm sorry...

This is all sooooo sad. I wish for your sake you could just say all of this to the surgeon (HarTer)... get some of it off your chest. These docs, they don't realize that altho it is just a 1/2 hour appointment out of THEIR day, we take these diseases and issues HOME with us and deal with them 24/7. It consumes our lives and why they don't understand this is beyond me.. it's almost as if they don't CARE.. And you'd think that anyone who doesn't CARE isn't qualified to be a doctor in the first place. Very sad state of events :(.. I can feel the frustration and it makes me want to cry for Kait. She doesn't deserve any of this, the poor little girl :(

Swear all you want, you have every right to vent, and that's what we're here for.. it all makes you wonder just *when* is this going to *end* for her.. will she EVER live a normal life? Free of constant medical problems and doctor's visits? Filled with happiness and family and GOOD memories???? Almost too much to hope for ..

This is a whole new nightmare---
And the thing is---HarTer keeps doing the same PROCEDURE!!!
U C he transfered from Westchester to NYU and we were hoping that along with the macho HarTer another team of neuros might spot what he is MISSING----
Brains I begin to surmise!!!

Well it is now 6PM and I am assuming,that if I havent heard from Lynn by now, Kait must be in surgery!!!

What an ongoing nightmare!! I am so very, very sorry you have this now on top of Lou's heart surgery. One at a time is bad enough.

Can U believe that Kait has been there for 18 hours and HarTer hasnt taken her into surgery yet!!!
He is bullshitten Lynn to the hilt and I told her she better get in touch with the hospital advocate and report all this crap and tell them she will report this to the medical profession---with all info---

The ballz of this HarTer----
The director of Pediatrics came to Lynn and said how *unacceptable* this is---he is furious with HarTer and told Lynn to get hold of the advocates

So did the HEAD NURSE---well big deal---

Let them go to HarTer and tell them that this child has been waiting 18 hours for CARE!!! from this F--ken doctor--
Hopefully in 1/2 hour she will go into surgery---damn be if I would let HarTer touch my grandaughter!!!
Can anyone tell me who are the right peoples to get hold of----
Cus I will ruin this mans reputation and throw him where he belongs---

He says to Lynn---*well I had a child from Orange county---no drinking./eating after midnight that needed some care-
Lynn to HarTer---Look @ me in my eyes---I drove 2 hours ,with a child vomiting for hours, and from ORANGE county and not only is her head like a balloon but now her entire eye unit is bloated!!!

HarTer also says to Lynn---well U know every situation needs certain care--and besides that other kid he worked on 5 others before Kait---who is an EMERGENCY!!!

So I give in and give up----now Lou is pissed off @ me cus he feels that I shouldnt *think* of myself @ this time caring for him---and take care of all the other stuff!!!

I am so sorry. He sounds like a complete idiot!! How helpless you must feel. I would report him to the hospital chair & also to the board of registration in Medicine. They do cover their own though. Sending you all healing light. Keep us posted. Love & light, Rita

She is no better---still vomiting--and these neuros CANT FIND WHERE THE BLOCKAGE IS????????

Usually when they syphon the fluid out they get about 20 cc's an hour
Now they can only get 5 cc's and her head is terribly blown up--

Lynn is in no-mans land---Mr.Louie is very depressed--gathering that this is one time that he CANNOT do anything---and Mr. Willard*the rat* has been @ the hospital with his daughter---guess there are *miracles*!!

Kait has said to Lynn---*I am going to die* not *AM I *but I am!!!!!!!

I dont know what to do----where to run----I cant even CRY???
How could anyone so *powerful* allow anyone to suffer so??? and why??? I refer to that *BIG-MAN upstairs---

Dear Barbara,

I am just so upset and horrified that people like Harter can exist and "practice" on others.

Malpractice attorney, 60 minutes, 20-20, but best of all OPRAH! It is the time to call in the media and even if you have to start with just local TV. This has gone far beyond anything one could have imagined - Hollywood would not even figure this one.

I pray daily for all of you and God has to have heard all of our pleas. All I can continue to do is pray or get Louie and Frank on the case.
