Microdosing Helped A LOT

Post by eshuler »

Hi All,

I haven't been here in a while, but I wanted to share that between the Paleo diet (with some pseudo grains and potatoes) and microdosing mushrooms, I feel so much better.

I have gone through a lot of different medications and Low Dose Naltrexone was the one that worked best for me until I started microdosing. In 2020 I also got Long COVID and had extra symptoms I was trying to deal with.

After 2 microdose cycles (and making sure I have REALLY good stress relief practices) I only take Vit D, have a soy chai every morning, and use topical magnesium. I know it can be a risk for the majority of people who don't live in a legalized jurisdiction, but the risk has definitely been worth it for me.

Hope this helps someone out there!
Kind Thoughts,
Liz

Hi Liz-

I am very interested in hearing more about this! I have just recently looked into LDN and am really interested in microdosing. I am trying to get a handle on things but my symptoms are so much more than WD multiple times a day that it makes it hard to find my footing.

Hi Julie!

There isn't a lot of science, yet, but lots of people are using microdosing to help with Long COVID and/or autoimmune diseases due to psychedelics' anti-inflammatory effects.

I still have flares sometimes if I eat the wrong thing or have other inflammation (in one right now due to a bike accident with lots of bruises/inflammation) but they are so much shorter less intense than they were before.

I will say, it isn't advised to use LDN and microdosing at the same time because the LDN will cancel out the microdosing. LDN was helpful for my MC (and other autoimmune stuff) before I got Long COVID, then it stopped helping.

If you want more information, I write a lot about it on my substack.
Kind Thoughts,
Liz
