Who mentioned the SADUKO puzzles???

Was it Katy???

Anyway, Lou is @ them ALL the time-----he asked me to try it

I think he really wants to drive me

He and Kristyn compete----and so does my daughter Deb----when we visited her in CO.,during our time in AZ., Lou introduced Deb to them and thats all they did(in their free time)

My mom's cousin sent me tons of them (about 3 books) when I had surgery. I didn't find them as addictive as some people....perhaps because its math and logic roled into one and that is similar enough to what I do all day, every day.

My Mom is now addicted. She found an online place that gives you hints and answers, or you can just print the puzzles and do them on your own. www.sodukuonline.com (I think).

Frank is also addicted to them and crossword puzzles and is a whiz at cryptograms. Me would just be the crossword puzzles. Too much brain work involved.

Count me in too!

Every morning I do 3 puzzles in the paper - crossword, Sudoku, and Jumble (word scramble). I figure this is my Alzheimer's preventive medicine!

The first thing I read is the OBITS. and as OMA said --happy NOT to see my name there--

Then I do the puzzle---and jumble---

SODUKO is a no-no for me----

Lou also does those CRYPTS. as Frank does-----I could never figure them out--

I used to do crosswords a lot and I like the cryptograms too.

Haven't done any of those types of things for quite a while.

Spare time is usually spent on the computer or reading.

I'd like to get back to some of the things I used to do.

I'm sure you know there's been many articles on the fact that keeping our brains active really does help in preventing Alzheimer's. I enjoy the crosswords and the Jumbles, but haven't gotten into the Sudoku...yet!

Math is not my thing so when my friend put sudoku on toadgames.com I went in search of a sudoku solver on google so I could test the game..LOL

Afraid I am a bit of an addict as well. Crosswords, Cryptics, Logics,any sort of word game & now Sudoko. Can't leave them alone & in fact have bought an electronoc Sudoko game with god knows how many puzzles. Good brain excersise, I reckon.
