I happened to notice that the mother bird was away from the nest when I got through working this evening, so I took a peek into the nest, and then went to get my camera.
At the slightest sound, they're in "what's-for-supper?" mode.

Jaco, a parrot in Salzburg, could not only speak but seemed to understand grammar. Whenever his person left, Jaco would say "God be with you." But when several people were departing, Jaco would change it to "God be with all of you."
The mama bird was back right after I took that picture, so I assume that she fed them.
