Hi Good Buddies!

How nice to come home from a trip to the beach yesterday (to visit my MIL) and see your lovely greetings! I've been smiling ever since. Isn't it amazing to be a part of this big happy cyber family? I really do think of you as close friends and family.....and every bit as important in my life as people I have known for decades.

I did enjoy my birthday, although we did have to spend 7 hours in the car. We stopped at a super seafood restaurant on the way home, so I had a yummy birthday dinner. And Scott gave me a gift certificate for a massage at a local salon. One of my favorite indulgences! Derek, my son, has ordered me a door mat with a golden retriever on it - from ebay, of course, where 19 year olds do most of their shopping! LOL!

Jaco, a parrot in Salzburg, could not only speak but seemed to understand grammar. Whenever his person left, Jaco would say "God be with you." But when several people were departing, Jaco would change it to "God be with all of you."
