Well I just read the paper----and I cant believe that this Torno. kinda swung the Tappan Zee Bridge---it is being inspected!!!! and the town next to us---was severly damaged--- and
Our Palisades Mall was refuge for people to ride out the storm---which is like a 10 minute ride from us---

I am so glad you are OK but did see that it hit where no one would expect a twister to do so. This weather is way beyond weird!
Many, many thanks for the card - it came just at the right time since I am a short-timer here and this place continues to change in a negative fashion and it is depressing. Shows I made the right decision and if life should ever get too hectic there I will do the same thing. By the looks of it, it is a really laid back place.

Hi Barb. Fortunately I wasn't at the Palisades Mall when the storm hit (although I was there last Thursday). We really didn't get much rain or wind up here in Newburgh but we did have a tornado watch for several hours. Scary. Might as well move to Kansas if the great northeast becomes the new tornado alley!
