I am a very over cautious Dr.----and I want to do a dye-contrast/CAT!!
OK say I----and he comes down with this paper--looks @ me and says *now dont get upset*
but U have spots all over your lungs!!! The regular chest X=ray picked up nothing!!!I always say---thank goodness for Dr. Lawrence---cus the other one was sending me home, after having a slug of Mylanta!!!
He looks @ me--I look @ him---and when somone heard I just got back from AZ---a nurse yelled *VALLEY FEVER!!! seems to be there are these tiny spores that float around,which U dont see but inhale and this cause VF--a type of pneumonia---those who have grown up there become resistant to it---fight it off---and of course our Immune system is shot---us visitors get knocked down with this severe Pneumonia-
Anyway--the week before I ran a high temp. had the same symtoms as am having now and then in one day everything broke and I felt terrific-
In hospital for 2 weeks---surgery for biopsies---to determine what was going on---and this is what they diagnosed--
Where/how/when/---dont know---I said the air vents from the plane--breathing in everybodies germs---Dr. said NO----and then they said,*barbara 70% of the time we dont KNOW!!!
Hows that for honesty!!
Ask Alice----we went from boop to AFOP--in a way it was funny but I surely was a sick puppy!!
The funniest thing is---my GYN knew of AFOP!!! I
and said I should have called U in on the case!!!A friend of mine---ER doc. in the Cali/AZ/ and other areas---said U had VF!!!
So we did have a good laugh---hearing of a Pneumonia called --DAD---BOOP--AFOP and I think there was a few other differentials~~
Good one, huh!!!
