A (what I thought would be a supporting person) friend called me today---to get caught up on issues---

So I related everything thats been going on----and this is what she said to me-----*call me when U have good things to tell me*!!!!

Awe Barb, sorry you keep having things go downhill instead of uphill! Bummer to put it mildly.

My grandma used to say that in a joking manner when I had nothing but bad news to report. She didn't mean it in a bad way, just that she was commenting that I didn't have anything good to report! Hopefully that is what your friend meant.

Mars may be right Barb. Your friend may have just been using a figure of speech & really is supportive of you. Probably like the rest of us, wondering when things can start going right for you & your family for a change. You have had to bear so much, not only with your own health but with all Lou's troubles & not to mention Kait. Hope you can sort it out with her.

Friends are friends whether news is good or bad. I know how you must feel, but maybe she didn`t mean it the way it sounded. Hope SHE was just having a bad day. Love, Carol
