My life belongs on Jerry Springer!!!!

Hi everyone,

Just wanted to blow off some steam - so here goes............

Nichole (eldest - mother of Jordan) received a letter from her MIL today. She is threatening to take her to court and take Jordan from her. She says she will turn Nichole in for being paid CASH at her job; that she is doing coke and dating a (insert bad "N" word here); parties all the time; etc. She says that she (Nichole) has known all along that Jordan had a heart condition and still continues to smoke and allow others to smoke around her - "how would the judge like to hear that???"

She says it is Nichole's fault that her son (Jordan's dad) is in prison - "what goes around - comes around" - you will get yours - see you in court - I'll take that daughter of yours..................blah, blah, blah. She is accusatory saying lots of things that just aren't true.

Nichole had called her to ask for financial assistance because she is a single mother struggling and for this "grandmother" (I say that nastily) to help by keeping her for a few days and she "couldn't" - didn't have time.

OK - I could go on but I'm done now. I get so mad at how people think that they can just come in and ruin a child's life over such bullshit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can NOT believe some people. And this is a woman who had 3 sons which have all been in prison. And she thinks SHE can raise Jordan better????????

I haven't decided whether I should leave this one alone or if I should respond with a letter to her myself!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm screaming now!!!!!!!!!!!!! Actually, I'm rambling......did you all make sense of any of this!?

How could MIL think that Nicole would put Jordans life in danger --

This is a situation-----where I know U would LUVE to haul off @ her
But then would U be letting yourself get more upset and end up suffering for it-----

I know how U feel---but sometimes tis better to *zipper mouth*
Cus U know how I would luve to mouth some Xpletives to my *X* SIL for not being by Kaits side more than he is---U can include *H* in this too--

Tough call Margie-----it hurts U---but would it be worth getting yourself all charged up with this *nut-case*

Be there to support Nicole~~~~~~I think thats the important issue facing U--

Vent all you want, that is why we are here. Very sticky situation and one where you just might have to let it rest for a bit and see if it improves. Why can't people just let other people alone?

Oh RATZ Mars Bar,

I think there are people whose sole goal in life is to make others miserable. I agree with Barb and Mags about not jumping in yet - other than to support your daughter, of course. There is no court I know of who would give MIL custody of a child given her miserable track record.

Hang in there......better are days ahead. But you sure have had more than your share of s*** in the past year. Glad the MC is under control. Be thankful for small favors, huh?

I agree with the rest of the family. She sounds like a spiteful individual whose own life is a train wreck, and she wants those around her to be miserable, too.

What a piece of work she is!! And you and your daughter are right to be angry over her threats...that said, she seems to be making empty ones - no judge would ever revoke parental rights over the *stuff* she is claiming - it just would NEVER happen....

And to rule in favor of giving *her* custody puh-leez!! I think she is angry and lashing out in desperation. I don't think you need to DO anything, as it is all groundless crap...I will keep your family in my prayers - and hope the spiteful, racist witch leaves you all alone!

Thanks for the comfort and advice family! You have all hit the nail on the head.

I am leaving it alone right now - gotta give those with less brain smarts than WE, a break now and again................ She is the queen of Drama Queen and does not live a great life. Her family is not happy unless they are causing heartache and drama for all those around them. And LIES..............ALWAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!

This family member agrees, let the steam settle then assess, but take notes! My daughters ex is trying to take their daughter from her and I advised her to take notes and keep a journal on all that happens, Ph Calls. notes conversations etc. Hugs to you Love Oma
