I should have realized that U havent been in on all of Kait's issues AND she is my GRANDAUGHTER Lynn is my daughter---

Kait has HYDROCEPHALUS ---was born with a brain tumor--(non maligant) --tumor successfully removed---then shunted~~~

4 years back,when high school started,which she saw the first 3 months of it, cosmetic surgery was decided upon --the neuro removed the shunt--claiming Kait didnt NEED one---and this is when all hell broke loose--
She CERTAINLY needed a new shunt---and she has been in hospitals more than attending school---megga surgeries--unsuccessful--

She is amazing---did all her SATS---regents---schooled by tutors in hospitals and @ home---attended HIGH when she could and GRADUATED this June--

Started college but she is having difficulties--so the decision is to let her try Community College and see how she can cope~~~

So thus be part of her story

And I am happy to meet U----and to see how much our *home* here is of help to you--
Isnt it wonderful to hear so many issues being discussed---and the pros and cons of what meds. work/dont work on us~~~~

Hi Barbara,

Thanks so much for explaining Kait's situation. I'm so sorry to hear about all of her difficulties. She's sounds like a really strong young woman, though, considering how far she's gotten with everything she's had to deal with!
