ARRIVED --AZ--YESTERDAY-gotta read--

Sorry didnt say adios---still hanging onto *old baggage* which keeps getting refilled even tho I empty it!!!

The trip (for me) was Xhausting---gotta admit --am getting too -hmm~~OK old for this kinda trek---hotels--luggin bags up--looking for *wheres the PJ's* Barbara where did U put this that and the other---grrrrrrrrrrrrr--and the hotels offer a decent breakfast but I am not the *grits* type----so *off* to find a Waffle house--
Then back----repack the unpacked :O)--plop in the car and head west older peoples---
Weather was *hot* and I must have sweated off a few pounds cus all I had was my sweats---
We stopped for gas at one place---high $$$$---but this,I thought was funny but not the other half---
He is filling up---tells me watch but dont touch the nozzle---*ok, say I as I start to go to the other side and sit---when ALL of a sudden the guy next to us yells* get outta the car* so I jump out and look----the nozzle fell outta the gas hole and was spewing around the ground and car!!
He kindly grabbed the hose --shut it off--and Lou comes walking back and *back in the dog-house* I go---hahahahah--not funny I know but he told me *dont touch* so we pushed the car outta the way--told the owner of this sleezy place(which it was one like *JOE'S GAS RUNS FREE*
That was one Xperience----I will relate the others later on--

SILENCE--was the rest of the traveling---:O)

I am using the lap top----hate it---we bought a mouse---cant find it---so I am using the roll the finger thiing and have erased this *greeting* 3 times--
So I am missing U all and hope to get used to this lap top--
We brought the colder weather with us too---freezing this A.M.--put the heat on and the FIRE ALARM starts screeching!!! HUH!!! So off it goes and we can smell something like burnt whatever---
Now we are waiting for the maintenance man--
Wait till I tell U the other things that occured!!! I will keep U all waiting *breathless* for the next chapter---

Kait is done with Dominican---she will try C.College---the man that sired her Willard the Rat is FURIOUS ---I managed to get his # from Kristyn--called him and he and I had some WORDS---and then I got hell from Luigi again---WHATEVER~~~~~~ and Kait will get 4 hours of working-on a Saturday--@ SHOP_RITE---

HOORAY---WE found the MOUSE!!!!

Well have to go and start arranging this place----

And I do apologize for not *communicating* (before we left) but I have been having a rotten time and I have sounded off enuf here---

Doug was so happy to see us---and it was so cute--he says,with a big hug--Im so glad to see my *mommy and daddy*

We have missed you and have been wondering about the trip. Glad you arrived safely.

OK....now it's time to get into west-coast mode......take deep breaths, RELAX, see your old friends, enjoy Doug, sign up for tai chi (or whatever) and put all of your old problems in the "east coast bag" on the shelf. I know you will begin to enjoy yourself as time goes by and you recover from the trip. Scary about the spewing gas........aren't you glad you don't smoke any more?

Hey - welcome back! It's great to see that you finally arrived and you're getting set up for a few months of fun and relaxation. Folks have been worried about you from here in the U. S. all the way to Australia.

Regarding the gas station incident, it seems like things like that are more likely to happen when someone tells you "don't touch it", doesn't it. LOL. I realize that was a dangerous situation, but I agree with you that it was funny, because of the irony. Some people would probably disagree with me, but I've been in plenty of dangerous situations that were very funny, and the element of danger seems to make them even funnier, (as long as nothing tragic actually happens).

I can't wait to "hear" about the other adventures that you mentioned. I always absolutely love to read whatever you write about. I guess I'm addicted to your writing style.

Speaking of address information, it would be nice if you could add an update in the Member Contact Information forum, just in case anyone wants to send you a card or something.

The trip here, weather wise, was in the high 70's but I guess the cooold weather was trailing right behind us---

My son and DIL had me hysterical----when we got to their door---my DIL actually had a hood over her head---hahahaha----2 robes---but this is the funniest---this morning Doug came to our place and here he is with a ROBE over his 2 jaqckets!!! I was
