Nikki leaves tomorow for Hawaii then on to Los Angelos, Las Vegas, Dallas, Memphis, Chicago & New York. She & her cousin will be in America for a month then he is coming home & she is going on to London for an indefinate time, could be a couple of years. Unless of course she gets homesick, which is definately on the cards for her. She has a job to go to in London but won't know exactly where until 2 weeks before she arrives. All we know is that it is in a pub. She came & had dinner with us last night & of course we had to have her favourite Beachmere whiting. That fish is the only one that our grandchildren will eat. They were brought up on it & that is what they have to have each time they visit. She said that will be her last fish meal for a long, long time. It will be sad to wave goodbye to her tomorrow at the airport but I expect we should be glad that she is spreading her wings & seeing a bit of the world.
Love
Liz

Hi Liz,
What a lovely young lady! Your family has done its job well - given her "roots and wings". Congrats.
I'll bet she'll keep in touch with grandma by email. Am I right? She's probably proud to have a "techie" grandma!
If she's ever in Maryland, I'd love to meet her and have her visit.
Love,
Polly

Blessed are they who can laugh at themselves, for they shall never cease to be amused.
