Major repair on car & Nik

Just as I feared, a major repair is needed on my car. Won't get it back until sometime next week & I am up for about $2.000.00.
:shock: :sad: :mad:
Oh well, not much I can do about it, just go with the flow & hope nothing more goes wrong.
Heard from Nikki & she is having a great time in Honolulu. Has tried skuba diving & snorkeling & just about anything else on offer. She says it is very beautiful there. Can't wait to hear about more of her adventures.

WE just got home from Doug's---hanging Christmas Lights around his house and fence---

That's a major chunk of money to come up with, gee wiz Liz. Sorry about that. Glad Nikki is having fun tho. :yikes: Love Oma

It is a bit much, especially at this time of year. The car is not quite 8 years old & it was the timing belt that went & that caused damage to the motor. We were to get it changed in the new year as they say to do it at 120.000 Kms or 8 years. Well the 8 years is not up & it had only done 80.000 kms.

Oh well that's life I expect.

That is bad news...I was told that my belts had have to be changed after 6 years or after so many miles...my car is 6 1/2 YO, so guess I need to get it done. I need to replace some hoses and the cluthch too...sigh...My sis gave me new tires for my birthday...just need to find time to go have them put on. :grin: But...tires won't elp me if my car won't run...hahahaha...JJ
