I had supper @ 5 and out it all came---plus stuff that I couldnt say what it was--
Every inch of my body ached----and of course from barfin--and poopin--my gut --chest---front and back was so sore---had temps---was freezing---shaking so much---and was dehydrated--headaches---and my one fear WAS----U know what!!!but it wasnt
Poor Lou--
--couldnt keep up with me---I made the bathroom twice--and there I hit the floor--the rug and what a mess---stood up and out came *running--Rapids*---all over the place---he didnt know what to do first--gave me a pot but I always missed that------hit the bed too---and the bedroom floor
By---midnight we headed to the ER--and I have to say----TERRIFIC care-
They hydrated me---found out Pedialite is better than Gatorade--gave me an intravenous of fluids mixed with pain and nausea stuff--
Went thru the whole battery of of Q and A...and if I needed an antibiotic --OH boy!!!But thankfully not--
Turned out to be an intestional virus---
BUT--this is the treatment I got----they did an ORAL--dye contrast CAT-
and the ORAl was drinking 2 glasses of this cherry stuff which HIGHLITED all the important stuff inside ---I was amazed--the intestion tract which was irritated--
Turns out--they could see my kidneys--which have some little cysts(a common thing to happen) --lungs OK---
They gave me a* 2 page* write up on all that was done and all that was found----I found this awesome----
I do have decreased level of potassium--no doubt due to all those hours of heaving---
No meds. needed but she did give me a prescription for nausea---and she was well informed on COLITIS!!! YEAAAAAAAAAAAA---
The place was jammed----and appears that the entire country is going thru all these crazy viruses!!!
So getting home early this morning---we both slept a good part of the day-
And am feeling much better---
