and a very unevenetful trip--

Xcept for one stop over--a mom and dad with their kangaroo jumping kid arrived,@ the hotel, around 11pm.-- of course in the room atop us--and us-after 2 days of doing 700 miles(each day)--are deeply into a nice purring

cus we are now 2 dead cats--but to our

we are woken up with this *darling*

child---running and jumping from bed to bed---and just all around the place---for a moment I thought -perhaps-we had some acrobats in training--but then downstairs goes L. with a very nice complain--the guy behind the desk--replies(well they just checked in) --now for me ,at this point, this is not a very good answer!!!

BUT he did call them to restrain their child---
So, we drift off again and 2 hours later same thing starts-----now I am READY to go to the manager but L. goes again and this time the guy says---Sorry---I am going to the room---well HOORAY!!and NOOO---we got no break on the $$$$ for the room---

We got home today---we hoped to have made it by yesterday---but it was just too much PUSHING!!!

SOOOOOOOO--did MARY HAVE SURGERY TODAY????? :bigbighug:

I hope she knows my good vibes were in with all yours---
Please let me know anything----K!!!

And OMA, I am sending U good vobes too

Tomorrow we get our mail-----

I am finding out---that this driving isnt making me too happy---or maybe I would just like to stay home one year--
In plain English it wasnt too good a time---I have to take alotta of the blame---I just wasnt with the whole thing---

Glad you are home Barb, we missed you. Mr L was nicer than I would have been. Have to tell ya what I did to an Intire childs hockey team one time in a hotel.
The mgmt was not too keen on telling all the parents to keep a tight riegn on the little darling that were ill trained. So after many complaints into the wee hours of the morning with no let up or help from mgmt...I waited til 5am when all the parents were asleep w/ the darling little brats. I was seeing what rooms were filled w/ hocky players and parents. So propmtly at 5am I begain calling each room...when they answered I said.....Due the inconciderate attitude of all hocky parents and lack of willingness to control your children.......here is you un scheduled wake up call. I felt great but tired all day. Welcome home Barb Love Oma

Glad you two made it back home safe and sound. We missed you - it's been kind of quiet around here while you were away.

Yes, I believe that Mary's surgery was scheduled for today, but we haven't heard a report from her, yet.

Hi Barbara,

So glad to see you had an uneventful trip back home.....except for the kangaroo kid.....in which case I don`t blame the child but the parents. Allowing the kid to act that way means he will be just as bad as his parents when he grows up....disrespectful of others rights. I am sure they will pay in the future.

Now for unpacking. Don`t you find that harder than packing in the first place? I always did.

So happy to see you had almost an uneventful trip and I think we have all been there one time or another with "neighbors" in rooms at a hotel. Love you and just take it easy. The unpacking can wait.

Welcome back to the east coast, Sis!

Glad the trip was uneventful (for a change). Here's a story for Lou. A lady at my mom's long-term care facility was originally from the Bronx. As a kid she and her friends used to hang out at around Yankee Stadium. One day Babe Ruth himself saw the kids and brought them inside to see the game. How about that???

Now you can just relax, take your time getting settled, and begin to enjoy spring (once this current cold snap leaves).
