Well needless to say-----what I read up on it has me already---

The side effects sure dont make me wanna take the stuff-----and now I will be atotal nut case!!!!!

Im sorry I went and did the search but guess one has to know--and the companies have to put all the *problems* that could occur--

I HATE the smallest of ailments----I hate all ailments----I wish the good fairy would fly around and make everything better--

Hang on Barbara..........you obviously need the iron. You probably won't suffer most or even any of the side effects. I haven't looked them up myself, but surely it's worth taking a small risk to feel better than you do now. Isn't it?

The risk of a serious adverse reaction is extremely low. It's less than one in 24 thousand. Put another way, the odds are 0.00004, which is only 0.004%. Very few treatments are safer than that.

Hi Barbara,

I took IV iron for two years and never had any problems at all. I just never could tolerate the oral iron supplements or absorb any that way. Good luck.

I never could take Iron....I was anemic as a child and it constipayed me then, If I took it noe all the laxitives in the world would not help....I'd need a jack hammer....not a pretty picture there. Love Oma
