The gastorenterologist put me on a new med to help with the cramping and spasms in my colon. It's called Librax. Anyone heard of it????
He wants to me to take it so that he can finish the colonoscopy, and help the spasms/pain - the first one he did he couldn't finish because of the spasms. Of course he also said..........."you shouldn't be going to the bathroom so many times a day/you shouldn't be cramping like that all the time" Well DUH!
What a goof!!!

"Let us rise up and be thankful, for if we didn't learn a lot today, at least we learned a little, and if we didn't learn a little, at least we didn't get sick, and if we got sick, at least we didn't die; so, let us all be thankful." -- Buddha
Never heard of it, but according to this site, it should be the ideal combination of meds for the job, (assuming that none of the contraindications apply to you).
It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
